Rank Plugs respects your privacy. We believe a digital agency can understand whether its website is useful without following people around the internet or building invasive advertising profiles.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it may be shared, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you when you visit our website, contact us, book a meeting, or use our services.

1. Who we are

Rank Plugs is a brand and operating name owned and operated by MDGF USA LLC, a United States limited liability company. In this Privacy Policy, “Rank Plugs,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to MDGF USA LLC.

MDGF USA LLC is responsible for the personal information collected through the Rank Plugs website and services, except where another provider acts independently under its own privacy policy.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to information collected through the Rank Plugs website, contact forms, consultation scheduling, client onboarding, service delivery, and related communications.

It does not replace the privacy policies of third-party websites or services that you choose to use, even when they are linked or embedded on our website.

3. Information you provide to us

Depending on how you interact with us, you may provide:

  • your name, business name, email address, and telephone number;
  • your website address and the Rank Plugs plan that interests you;
  • the contents of messages, consultation requests, and support communications;
  • scheduling information submitted through Calendly or another meeting provider;
  • business goals, project requirements, budgets, approvals, and materials needed to provide services;
  • billing contact details, transaction information, and records relating to proposals or contracts; and
  • any other information you choose to include in a form, meeting, email, or project workspace.

Please do not send sensitive personal information through a general contact form unless it is necessary and we have asked you to provide it.

4. Information collected automatically

When you use the website, our hosting, security, and analytics systems may process limited technical information such as:

  • IP address and user-agent information;
  • browser, operating system, device type, screen size, and browser language;
  • pages viewed, approximate visit time, referring page, and general navigation events;
  • approximate country or region derived from technical request data; and
  • security, error, performance, and request logs.

Our contact-form system stores the submitting IP address and user-agent alongside the form record for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. We do not use this information to create advertising profiles.

5. Privacy-friendly analytics with Umami

We use, or plan to use, Umami Analytics to understand aggregate website activity—for example, which pages are visited, what brought visitors to the site, which devices are commonly used, and whether important website actions work properly.

We chose Umami because useful analytics should tell us what is working on the website, not attempt to discover who a visitor is. Umami’s standard analytics are designed without advertising cookies, browser fingerprinting, personal-data profiles, or cross-site tracking. Its official documentation describes a privacy-first system that collects anonymous traffic metrics rather than personally identifying visitors.

Basic Umami metrics may include page views, referral sources, browser and operating-system categories, device type, screen size, browser language, visited URL, page title, and approximate country. Umami may use technical request information such as an IP address and user agent to generate an anonymous session identifier, but its standard configuration does not store that information as a personally identifiable visitor profile.

Our intended Umami configuration follows these principles:

  • no analytics cookies;
  • no advertising or cross-site tracking;
  • no use of names, email addresses, telephone numbers, form messages, or other direct identifiers as analytics properties;
  • no use of Umami’s user-identification features;
  • no session replay unless this policy is updated and any required notice or consent is provided; and
  • no sale or sharing of analytics data for behavioural advertising.

Umami can be self-hosted or provided as a managed cloud service. Depending on the deployment we select, anonymous analytics may be stored on infrastructure controlled by us or by a hosting provider acting for us. We will limit access to people who need the information to maintain and improve the website.

6. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • respond to inquiries and consultation requests;
  • schedule meetings and follow up on conversations;
  • prepare proposals, provide services, manage projects, and support clients;
  • process payments and maintain transaction and accounting records;
  • understand which plans, services, and content are useful to visitors;
  • improve website usability, accessibility, performance, and security;
  • prevent spam, fraud, misuse, and technical attacks;
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations; and
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use contact-form information for unrelated third-party advertising.

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to:

  • take steps at your request or perform a contract with you;
  • pursue legitimate business interests such as operating, securing, and improving our services;
  • comply with legal obligations; or
  • act with your consent, where consent is required.

You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the applicable basis. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed or information we must retain for legal or contractual reasons.

8. Service providers and disclosures

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to service providers that help operate our business, including:

  • website hosting, database, infrastructure, backup, and security providers;
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, which helps protect forms against automated abuse;
  • Calendly or another scheduling provider when you book a meeting;
  • Stripe or another payment processor when payment functionality is used;
  • GoHighLevel or another CRM and communication provider where a selected workflow uses it;
  • Umami or the infrastructure hosting our Umami deployment for website analytics;
  • professional advisers such as accountants, insurers, consultants, and legal counsel; and
  • government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.

These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We seek to provide only the information reasonably necessary for their function.

Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of the Rank Plugs business, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

9. Cookies and embedded services

Rank Plugs does not use Umami analytics cookies. This is one of the main reasons we selected Umami.

Other website functions may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies when technically necessary. Embedded or third-party services—such as Calendly, Cloudflare Turnstile, video providers, or payment tools—may set or read their own technologies under their privacy policies.

You can use browser controls to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential or third-party functionality may prevent some forms, calendars, videos, or payment features from working correctly.

10. Communications

We may use your contact details to reply to your request, communicate about a project, provide service notices, or follow up on a consultation. We will send promotional email only where permitted and will honour applicable unsubscribe or opt-out requests.

Transactional, security, billing, and active-service communications may continue when necessary even if you opt out of promotional messages.

11. Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations.

Retention periods vary by type of information. For example, an unanswered inquiry may be deleted sooner than records connected to a paid client engagement. Anonymous or aggregated analytics may be retained longer because they are not intended to identify an individual. When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or securely archive it.

12. International processing

MDGF USA LLC is a United States company and Rank Plugs serves businesses in Canada and other locations. Information may therefore be processed in the United States, Canada, or other countries where our service providers operate.

Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we use contractual or other appropriate measures for international processing and remain subject to mandatory privacy rights that apply to you.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, encrypted connections, bot protection, validation, restricted administrative access, and reputable infrastructure providers.

No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you believe information submitted to Rank Plugs has been compromised.

14. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements;
  • withdraw consent or object to certain processing;
  • request information about how your data is used or disclosed; and
  • submit a complaint to the privacy or data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

15. Children’s privacy

The Rank Plugs website and services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

The website may link to third-party websites, social networks, tools, or resources. We are not responsible for their privacy, security, or content. Review the privacy policy of any third-party service before providing information to it.
